A silly theory, art, and some new images!
Hey guys!! 30 posts, wow! And I have a bit of a fun post today- a silly theory, art, AND some new images, so please enjoy!
I have a small theory about the It’s A Small World renovation that happened between 2021-2023. Can it be debunked easily? Absolutely! Can I dream? Also absolutely! Let me be delulu! <333
We all remember this wall, right?
Look a little closer…
Look familiar?
There’s 2 places this could have come from, both of which share a striking resemblance.
The obvious (and most likely) place:
Let’s be honest, they share an obvious resemblance, both in colours and format.
The other (optimistic and more unlikely) one:
As you all know by now, this is the banner which resided at the end of World Chorus, the old post show of ‘it’s a small world’. Back when I first saw the renovation banner, it immediately reminded me of this globe, so I thought it might be an interesting proposition.
Disneyland Paris and the Walt Disney Company as a whole have made subtle references to World Chorus in the past (as far as I can tell): https://worldchorusarchive.blogspot.com/2024/09/the-grand-hat-theory.html
(see this post about how a simple hat design may include a very sneaky reference to World Chorus!)
It wouldn’t be out of the question that they’d want to pay homage in a small way to this banner design, since it is iconic both in and out of the ride. It is also likely both banners were developed together, so it might be a reference anyway to the greater banner design that unifies the ride.
They’ve continued using this design for the current renovation (which looks absolutely beautiful by the way!) except with inferior walls.

On another note, here’s some stuff I did recently!
A custom tsum tsum of Jules/the conductor
Designs for him in DisneyQuest’s Radio Disney Song Maker, since I think he’d fit so well!
And art of him with Mickey…
Jules in Wasteland again with Mickey…
And a concept of him in the upcoming Disneyland Paris Music Festival!!
One of my favourite drawings I’ve made in ages, Minnie and Mickey from Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World at Tokyo Disney Resort. I’m putting it here for the sole reason it’s cute, and these two go together just like strawberries and chocolate- perfectly!
And now, here are some new images I’ve found!
^^^ This image has a bit of a story behind it. I was browsing Google Lens when I came across the image above this one, and continued the lens search, which brought me to the one directly above this text. I’ve had to censor it, though, due to the fact it contained a pretty dark implication, and was already edited. (I checked this by putting it in ibispaint and brightening it, there was no background so it suggested it was merely the animation against a dark screen and the background was off, removed, or this was a source animation.) Anyway, the original is on google if you want to find it, but the text written around the image and logo were unintrusive enough that I could simply black over them. At the very least, we have another image of Alexandra, which I’m not complaining about since I find her so cute.
See ya!! <3
