Clip of Daphne and Conrad banner discussion!
Hey guys! I’m back with another short post, but I found a new clip of Daphne and seemingly an extra clip of Conrad, so I thought I’d share my findings! As usual, all videos can either be found here or on the World Chorus playlist on YouTube! I also have a random discussion about Disneyland Paris’s Small World banners, since I find their artistic direction fascinating.
I slowed down the video so audio warning for it being a little loud and distorted, but it was designed to show the white sleeve which would likely belong to Conrad, as well as a subtle pattern of movement I spotted from afar of Daphne dancing, it looks as if she's striking a pose, though of course the clip is old and it isn't easy to see.
Clip of Daphne and Conrad:
As for the banners, I want to just discuss the way the queue has changed over the years, and the same can be seen in the decor section of the archive when it comes to the outside of World Chorus. Specifically, it’s fun to see how they change with the different branding with France Telecom, and presumably when they switched it was also the time when World Chorus went from white to colourful, as far as I can tell from old photos and videos. They used to depict the kids in much smaller ways surrounded by clouds, as this was similar to the logo used by France Telecom at the time, as shown below.
As shown, the pin also utilised the same shape language
Then, we switched to the banners I grew up with, which were more colourful, and featured the company’s new logo at the bottom of each banner in the middle.
And then, when sponsorship ended, they kept the same design but merely removed the logo, making a subtle change to remove the sponsorship.
Not much else, but this cart is cute! (I don’t know what it sold though haha!)
As always, send anything through my email, and since today is the 1 year anniversary of my project (alongside aeronautics_comics) of Fantasia: Symphony Of Sorcerers, why don't you give it a read? :) (https://fantasiasymphonyofsorcerersau.blogspot.com/)
I also recommend watching this video since it made me cry like a baby:

(Me and Aero imagined Jules is singing at the end, which made me cry even more hahaha)
And as a tribute, I did this arrangement of it's a small world on flat.io. I'm not amazing at composing and such but I'm trying to improve, so any support is appreciated!
