How to draw in the World Chorus Artstyle!
Hello everyone!! Sorry that it’s been a month, I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff and overall just haven’t made that many new discoveries. However, I did promise to make tutorials on how to draw World Chorus kids the way they’re done in the attraction, so this is my attempt. I’ve done a previous tutorial, so I’ll be combining that with the current one, like an update!
To start, here’s the old tutorial!
Here’s some other art and examples, before I go into more detail about each component.
An art of one of my online best friends, Aero (https://www.instagram.com/aeronautics_comics/) Go follow her instagram, she has gorgeous art!
An experiment into lineless World Chorus art!
Jules, my version of the conductor doll, in the World Chorus artstyle!
Me myself and I, the archivist, as a World Chorus kid! I drew this for the archive trailer on Instagram and YouTube. It could be considered a very accurate World Chorus kid, as I followed the principles of their anatomy instead of adding my own flairs or tweaks.
Now onto a more detailed view of some of the components of the World Chorus kids:
Here’s a study into their anatomy. I discovered recently that they seem to act like toons, having four fingers instead of five. Their eye shape is very distinct, appearing either full or half-lidded depending on the frame. They are mostly expressive with their eyebrows and mouths, having a few different shapes as I’ve detailed here. There is a sketch of Victoria in the top left of me trying to put all three things together.
Evidently, these are more experimental. I wanted to see how curly hair might look on a World Chorus kid with the flair, and also try putting the principles together again. Though, something I enjoy about drawing World Chorus kids is transposing them into my own style. I may not be able to draw them 100% accurately, but that’s not the point. No matter the style, they still are just as validly World Chorus kids as the original animation.

Other small examples of working out the style:
Someday, I’ll do a post relating to how to design your own World Chorus OCs, since I only have one at the moment outside of Jules and my designs for Tito, Harry and Juli. But until then, I hope you found this useful! Feel free to show me anything you make!
Draw in your own style and way, because even if this is just a fun lineart look from me, I still think it’s beautiful <3
