The Silhouettes of World Chorus!

The silhouetted children of World Chorus were found on the walls of the attraction, on the outside before people entered the spiral. They were very simple shadow and light effects that acted as the first ‘stage’ in the complexity of the animation (before Small World Small Talk, the room had a sort of progression that acted as shadows -> 2D animation -> 3D doll), and they depicted characters from all over the world using telecommunication to talk to each other, or devices to take photos, record etc. They activated when a fibre-optic shooting star ‘hit’ a building, though this effect didn’t work in the last few years of operation.

A similar effect was also used for the shadows surrounding the conductor doll, but in 3D.
